I just cant wait to see the real comparison to previous elder scroll titles

I think the character customization is amazing. I hope that carries over to the proper series.
Other than that... I know next to nothing about it outside of the basic plot and the fact that you don't get to play as Imperials because of reasons.
Well I know what I dont want to see. I dont want to see a quest system that relies entirely on quest markers and lacks any detailed quest dialogue from its involved NPC's or lorebooks etc so players are forced to have their hands held trough all questable content killing any and all possible immerson in a fantasy world that is the elder scrolls.
And yes, I know skyrim had quest markers, and yes, it destroyed a large part of the immersion. The game would have been 10 times more immersive and satisfying had they not gone with a quest marker system. I would be greatly dismayed if ESO depends on quest markers for its questing system rather than well written dialogue and directions so players can figure things out on their own and get that ultimate sense of accomplishment when they succeed.
Just being able to get in the game and play in an elder Scrolls World with my friends, for me that's the most important thing.. For me that is the best feature of the game.
1. Character Creation
2. First-person combat
3. Story/Lore/Characters/Dialog
4. Environment Design
5. Open(ish) Class System
6. Elder Scrolls IP
7. Cliff-Racers
8. Playing TES with friends
Your forgetting the detailed quest dialogue. If its not there then quest markers will be forced on everyone who doesnt like them in order to complete quests. Simply turning them off is not the solution.
Is that confirmed? I mean just because Skyrim has a feature doesn't mean that another developer is going to do the same thing.
True enough. One of the largest gripes I have had with TES is dialog, in general. Now, Morrowind had a good direction description plan. This faded in Oblivion and is utterly extinct in Skyrim. Sad but true.
I play with the compass turned off completely and rely partially on previous knowledge and great mods like Better Quest objectives to navigate the game. That and sheer instinct. Although the later is nothing to much to depend on but it adds an amazing element to the game, for sure.
I only hope that the ESO team will implement extensive measures to allow for a more immersive experience and completely negate the handholding horror that is the quest marker system.
EDIT :
Sorry, OP this is polar opposite of the topic at hand.
Exploration exploration exploration, and quests and lore!
I'm interested to see how regimented and organized PvP in Cyrodil becomes, I mean it is supposedly a huge area so that means it will require different strategies, to hold, attack, defend, and maintain.
I wonder if guilds will organize divisions of mages, archers, warriors? (I don't like to use the terms Tank, Healer, DPS, ranged-DPS etc cause I think ESO is going to give a huge PvP opportunity for strategy that could mirror or resemble some real life military formations).
i wait to play in a subscription based world, where people actually care, and not go afk in between dungeon runs as the game is free and who cares what matters players are not there.
ofc there is always situtations where someone might DC or just go AFK due to Real Life, but the %chance is very small. In free2play games its been a pain in the ass to play em in pugs.
