I plan on buying Lakeview Manor when I get Hearthfire later tonight. Which follower would you recommend to hire as a steward? By best I mean tough, cause I want the steward to be a good fighter if my house gets attacked. Also, would you recommend moving my wife from Breezehome to there?

who's your wife? and as a fighter,housecarls work pretty good,i myself used Lydia for my main house,and she has been pretty good,the companions will also work,all these suggestions level til 50,so you would be ok with them...

My wife is the Camilia (spelling?) girl from Riverwood. And yea I was thinking about taking Aela as my Steward.

well,taking her or ysolda or any other wife that's not a warrior could be risky,but with a good steward and housecarl you will probably be ok.

Yea I got married pretty soon after getting skyrim and I didn't do any research lol and yes I plan on giving my steward and housecarl those enchanted daedric swords i got from the civil war questline so any fights wont last that long.

well,if you ever start 2 worry about her,dont fast travel to ur home,do it somewhere near by
