Best house for an evilassassin character?

Post » Thu Jul 19, 2012 6:42 pm

So I started an assassin yesterday. I was wonder what house would make for a cool evil lair kinda setup. I was thinking Vlindrel Hall, but any other ideas?

It doesn't have to be a bought house, BTW.

I am, so share your thoughts anyway. I'm also interested for a future character of mine.

Anyway, I was thinking of making Skyrim get itself bugged on a certain place, and take that as a hideout. But maybe i'd better check the mods. I believe the storage places still do respawn, even if the enemies don't. I'll get a normal house for my cover business too. Can't have dangerous evidence of my illegal activities out in the open, now can we? Especially since I plan on marrying the guy.

Since you are dont bother with a house in a town, get something in the wilderness.

I suggest "underground lakehouse"
Located by the guardian stones, always accessible even when you are wanted, and well hidden.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Witchmist_Grove Grove might be an option in the vanilla game, but I am not sure about the storage options.

^a list of all locations that offer save storage. Perhaps a dungeon would suit this character well?

Thanks for the list.

Looking over, Anise's Cabin would be cool. I forget, does it have it's own marker?

The Abandoned House has potential.

Yep, it has a marker. It's also just across the river from Riverwood, and a stone's throw from Whiterun and Falkreath.

The Abandoned House has the most storage containers of any building in the game, I believe. That place creeps me out a bit though ... That altar ...

Nice, I think I shall use using the Cabin. Thanks for the help. :)

Assassin's shouldn't buy houses as they should move around as to not be caught. I'd use the UESP link provided and make note of containers all around Skyrim you can use to store equipment/items, because you'll want as many possible.

If you truly do want a place to stay as your own, the only one that makes sense is http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Anise%27s_Cabin, because it's so run down, it'll not be seen as being used. It's not the cabin you're interested in, but what's under it.

There are a couple of good mods on the Skyrim Nexus. You have to make an account and download the mod manager, but I did see a couple of evil lairs down there, I forget what they are, you should check it out

Oh wait, you don't want any stuff lying around... hm... you may find a mod like that. I remember build your own house mod had a secret passage that was either werewolf or vamp themed

Anise's Cabin is great for all characters, and if you are an assassin, and going to do the Dark Brotherhood, you will end up with a place to live that is suitable.

I found it once, but never went inside it. The run-down look definitely deterred me.

It's because of this forum I'll be going back tonight and taking it. ;)
