best merchants for selling items?

Where is the best place to sell stuff? I have thousands of caps worth of stuff just sitting around in my room at the atomic wrangler but no where to sell. All the merchants I see have less than 500 caps. I saw one travelling merchant with about 6,000 caps but I didn't have my stuff with me :(

Gun runners. and 188.

I find that the more you use a merchant and the more you sell to them they get more and more caps.
When I started good springs only have 450ish caps. Now he always has around 1,500.

Gun runners robot normally has around 8-9K caps.

Hey,

Best places I've found has been (depending on your status with certain groups): Gun Runners like mentioned above, 188 Trading Post isn't bad either, Goodsprings - trade at the general store beside the bar/saloon, Silver Star in Freeside, and Crimson Caravan Company, I traded mostly with these vendors.

Oh I love looting everything and sell it to merchants! I got the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/You_Run_Barter_Town very quickly. :)

I was really surprised that several merchants have so many caps and most notably restocked their caps in about 1 or 2 days. It's a thing I missed in Fallout 3.

I mostly sell my stuff to http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Old_Lady_Gibson near Novac. She has usually about 1800 caps.

Well, maybe there are better merchants ahead but she is one of those I remember. ;)

Dr. Unasagi offers max. money after you complete a certain quest even with 0 Barter Skills. She has 1200 Caps and a lot of Stims & some Super Stims in her Inventory. Unless you plan on selling Items worth more than ~2500 Caps just sell the Item(s), buy as much Stims as needed, reset and resell the Stims at the same price.
