Best place to do mass carnage

Post » Tue Dec 21, 2010 9:36 pm

Where is the best place to cause the most death? I for one have been keeping a high level save at the Ultra Luxe because I feel there are a lot of people there to send to the hereafter. However, I also keep a save at Vault 3 just for the Oldboy-esque hallway death homages I can recreate. Does anyone else have a special place they want to share where one can rack up the most kills? I like seeing death upon death and want the most bloodshed possible, does anyone have suggestions of a place superior to the aforementioned to get the most morbid outcome?

at level one, i repair the 9mm submachine gun in mitchells house, get some extra ammo for it, head through I-95, walk past the cazadors (still engaging like 5 since its hard to avoid them), heading to bonnie springs, dealing with the raiders (gaining love and hate, and combat armor + a trail carbine), keep going north, wipe out a TON of fire gecko's, then proceed north more, wipe the fiend leaders, then its off to vegas with all the loot i just made! :celebration:

Old Mormon Fort+6 C4 explosives spaced evenly around=carnage

I think a few of them cleared the New Vegas wall.

Camp Golf isn't really populated though.

I say West Vegas Ruins.

I wish there was a really crowded place like with 50 characters in one location, would be fun to just slaughter and stack their bodies in one big giant pile. XD

The Boomers mess hall.... about 30 of them sitting down to eat.

Camp Mccarren.

The legion fort.

Camp forlorn hope.

Great khan red rock canyon.

The vault with the fiends in... Vault 3 I think.

Yes it's not that tough with some minor planning and the right gear..
If you head down to Primm first with the right misc items you can pick ED-E up for an extra boost too.

On topic.
Any large NCR base has the most options tbh.
Also the Kings HQ is a blast to wipe out, or major casino.

Even with quite a bit of planning, chances are you usually die once to eight times
Mainly because of either running out of stims or anti venoms, running out of either would be bad, stims especially for Bonnie springs. After you have combat armor though your practically good.

LOL, I haven't seen the need to use C4 until now.

C4 is great fun for carnage, people go flying...

The Fort is a hugely entertaining fight, especially at the end. The first area is easy once the gate guards are down (weaklings). The second area can be tough when you first go through, I walked in and got hit by every legionnaire up to the praetorian guarding Caesar's tent. Then annihilated the rest. The last area(s), Caesar's tent and maybe the Weather station (i think it's dependent on if you've done the quest there?) can be really rough, small space with lots of punchy guys, I like entering, killing one quickly then running outside, set up an ambush further down and it's easier but no less entertaining.

Other than that, NCR bases. Golf can be good fun, especially when everyone goes to go to bed, lots of soldiers appear. Kill them. McCarran is ok, but surprisingly thin on enemies. Vault 3 is quite fun...Vegas itself is good fun, if you just decide to take on all comers the casinos can be a laugh.

Boomer's mess hall never crossed my mind but looking at it now it's a smorgasbord of carnage :-) nice one. Never thought of going to The Kings place either although I spent a lot of time there, I feel too close to The King to actually wipe him out, he's like a father to me and took care of me during my rise to power in New Vegas.

Good list. I'd add:

Hoover Dam Offices or Intake Tower 01

Vault 21 (100% civilians for maximum bad karma and Strip infamy)

Hidden Valley BoS bunker

NCR Correctional Facility (Powder Ganger base -- climb one of the towers and blast away)

Vault 34 (forced crawl, but tons of spawning ghouls)

I love wrecking up casinos. I keep my holdout and place C4 everywhere, then slice up the survivors with Knock-Knock (special fire axe).

Casinos, Camp Golf (not House Resort), Camp Mccaran, Camp Forlorn Hope, Outer Vegas, Westside and North Vegas Square, All Fiend Territory, Red Rock Canyon, Nellis AFB (If you can survive the lagging explosions of the Boomers in the Hangers, your reward is a Mini Nuke if you can find it), and every other populated area in the game.
