best steward candidates?

Aela. Or J'zargo. Obvious.

Though, if Sapphire from the thieves guild was a follower I'd pick her instead. She seems pretty cool.

She totally Survived a Fus ro dah off of the Throat of the World.

Honest this happend to me. I was like  :stare: -try- -Immidiedtly Dies-

She got launched by a giant in my game, I was thinking damn, Lydia's down (coming down ). After looting the giant, dragon and a load of bandits I turned to see Lydia standing there looking at me.

I'd have Erandur as my steward (he gets lonely in Nightcaller Temple).

Welp you guys are right, I guess the two stewards, are just new characters added in.
I think they might be housecarls for being thane of Hjaalmarch, the Pale, and Falkreath.

I want Ralof since he's a close friend, but alas i think this will be impossible seeing as he cant be hired as a follower after the first main quest :c

I hate being ordinary, but I think I might well go with Lydia too. Since both my characters who want homes rarely use followers (funny, because I used them a lot in F3 and FNV), and neither owns Breezehome, poor Lydia's stuck at Dragonsreach with nothing to do. And I doubt Jarl Balgruuf is happy about her sitting around there eating his food...

I used them more in FNV because they couldnt die unless I switched to hardcoe mode.

I'm guessing you only get three - one per house. I think Adelaisa Vendicci would be a good choice, and barring any new followers, will probably be my main steward. She's a soldier, so she can defend herself, and she works for the East Empire Company and could put those connections to use.

Definitely not Lydia. She's needed in ... Other areas of the house :hubbahubba:
I'm not sure, to be honest. One of the other housecarls would probably be a good fit.

I hope you are referring to the kitchen. There are a lot of sammiches to be made in order to make sure that the Dovahkiin can save the world. Making those sammiches will use up dishes too, so they will need cleaned. Brilliant idea Solitudian.

Kharjo if possible. I'll have to think about other candidates. Maybe Stenvar. I liked working with him. The Orc who used to be Legion too. He's one of my favorites.

It'll probably be a female. I like an all female staff :) . Even my male housecarl I sent to join the blades.

That or maybe one of the Khajiit as others have suggested

New character?
What would she be. Maybe the first steward you get or something. Maybe there are quests that you do and she is involved. It's all pretty confusing saying that followers become stewards when shes appeared from nowhere.

When you think about it, your current housecarls say they will "defend you and everything you own with their life". I say we really test that loyalty and make them defend our houses from bandits, kidnappers etc.

I think the trailer specifically says "almost any follower can become your steward"

Yeah your right, and if you notice in the trailer, there is an option when he talks to him "Follow me"
