Im having a hard time luring a circling dragon down. Doesnt seem interested in attacking me, and I cant hit him with my bows (svck at aiming on the xbox).

Is there a method people know of to get it to terra firma?

In my experience, these Dragons will only get attack if you get close to their Dragon Nest. However, I believe you're meant to bring them down with the "Dragonrend" shout.

When I see one circling, I tell Lydia to stand out in the open, then I go hide and do a quick save. Then I start plinking away at it with my cheap arrows. If it gores away before I hit it, F9 and try again. My sneak is pretty good so most of the time my arrows do double duty.

Well when i was fighting a dragon while ago i hid in a spot that it couldn't hit me with fire and I guess it realized that it couldn't hit me so it started to land everytime after that when i was hising in those rocks.
