People - millions have applied for these beta keys - it's not the end of the world if you don't get one. Zenimax aren't not giving you one to troll you, and don't deserve disdaining comments you see so often after these releases.

Besides, do you REALLY want to beta test? They don't let you loose on the game, they have you play the same area several times, flood your PC with updates, and require you to send frequent bug reports. I'd much rather wait and enjoy the game than become a proxy tester.

Agreed. Once a game launches it is what it is. Beta is the only opportunity.

ESO looks very promising from what we've seen but I've thought that about other recent releases and been wrong.

It's not necessarily entirely selfless. Helping the game live up to its full potential is also good for us.

Speaking of Beta... have they made a way for you to update your application? I signed up like the first or second day but I've recently got a new computer with better specs. But I don't really want to reapply if that has any impact on the potential of getting picked...

I didn't get one either.

I'm pissed that I can't get a [censored] confirmation email that I've even registered. The first time was back when there was a questionnaire and i didn't realize I should get a confirmation. So when I realized I wasn't even on the list I tried again. Nothing. Contacted CS and they supposedly were checking on it. Nothing. Tried with a different address the 3rd time. Been over a week so well past the 72 hour mark.

Once again, nothing...

Mmmm. I tried signing up when it first became available. It seemed to submit but there was no confirmation of any kind even on the site. The site also kept automatically returning me to the beta sign up page. So I signed up with another email address. No confirmation again.

But I just tried signing up again and saw the message saying I should get an email confirmation. None has arrived.

Maybe I need to pester... I mean contact CS too.

They stopped asking for computer specs some months ago. Current appliers to the beta don't even get a confirmation e-mail. At least those of us who applied originally have that.
