I know that they said they would release information for Beta Rewards (rewards for participating in the beta) later on down the road. However, i was wondering what the community thought would make a good Beta Reward. So what reward would you like get if you get chosen to participate in the Beta?

A good beta reward for me would be the first invite group they send out I am included in it...other then that I don't need or want a thing...

Getting to help find and eliminate bugs to make a good product is enough reward for me. Then again, that is kind of what I do for a living.

I don't think a reward is nessicary at all, if your selected for beta that's rewarding enough and doesn't make you any better than those that weren't selected.

If you want a reward for beta, you should rethink you application. Beta is there to test the game, and you have to do it voluntary.

Im starting to think some of you have a hard time reading. I did not say that a reward was needed or even necesarry. What i was asking was, since they are giving one out anyways what rewards would you like to see? It is not a hard question.

I'd like to see a simple title, that would both fit in the game world but also denote that the player was in the beta.

I think it's a safe bet that a goodly number of us would take just being picked as the reward. Yes, per your qoute they are planning on rewarding the chosen, a number of us believe we would be sufficently estatic just being chosen without a reward so we aren't even thinking beyond being chosen.

The graveyard will get really big, i think there will be more than 1000 people testting in closed beta. Open Beta way over 10000.

Multiplied by the chars the chosen would go thru......

Why would you do it for rewards? That's like donating blood just for the free cookie.

Are the rewards only for those in the closed beta, because that would be really unfair, as there isn't really anything you can do about it if you don't happen to get selected.

Some sort of tag near my avatar on the forums that said I was a beta tester .

Maybe a cosmetic item of their choosing so I can show off in game, though seeing as there probably will be thousands of items it will be forgotten anyways. I don't really need any recognition, but seeing as there is a reward, that would be what I would want.

If we're going on the extreme end, maybe being able to pick a name before someone else, but I don't think that's very fair. I want a redguard named Owyn (arena blademaster from Oblivion - yeah you all know who I'm talking about .), And Oreyn Bearclaw. Other than that there aren't really any special names... maybe Umbra, but that'd be too BA, and the last name could easily make it unoriginal. This isn't me being selfish about the idea of choosing your name before everyone else, it's me getting excited about what names I want to pick as soon as I can beta or no beta.
