Hey everybody, this is a topic for general beta discussion, and ideas for the new game. Why ideas? because i am hoping they will be open to ideas, like the makers of castle crashers, who put in a character that was forum generated. And if anyone has any ideas for when the beta may be coming out feel free to post.

I'm really looking forward to a beta. As for forum easter eggs... Maybe they could add something to reference us? Like a character to look for that would say something only someone who's been on the forums would understand. And hey... Whatever happened to M'aiq..?

And I was thinking (doubt they will do it) some sort of pre character customization before the game comes out just to give us a look into it.

maybe you can find him in the new skyrim dlc, and maybe he will hit things in ESO, cause he hinted dual wielding and other stuff in oblivion.

I am very interested in being part of any Beta testing that will occur in connection with this long hoped for MMO. Could Gstaff or someone tell me whether beta testing will be by invitation only, and if so, is there a way to be invited to participate?

Yeah, and probably all sorts of promotions as it nears release. You know - pre-order, get access to beta weekends and stuff like that.

There is usually a first invite-only beta and then a month or two before launch an open beta.

ZOS hasn't mentioned anything about testing, but I imagine if they do it will be announced on the Bethesda Blog
