Moderators do not have the authority to sticky things, only Admins can make that call. And they're really stingy about it, getting them to add more stickied threads is like pulling teeth.

Though... in this case, I kind of agree with them. Why can't this information be kept in the Seeking Mod Interviews thread? Seems unnecessary to have two threads for the things...

Well, Gstaff is an admin, he can do that. Actually, it's true that Gstaff is much more willing to do it than admins have been in the past. Gstaff's a great guy to have around here.

Mm. Not denying that there are advantages. I'm just somewhat jealous of my thread space (I was furious when they reduced the max threads per page (and posts per page) from 100 to 40), so stickies, to my mind, should be added judiciously.

That, and I have a general distaste for the entire interviewing thing.

I agree as well. If you'd like, we could change the title thread to something that covers both aspects?

That's a shame because I think given your abounding contributions to the community by way of all the work you've done on the CS Wiki that you should be interviewed. Of course given the length of time you have been a part of this community it's likely you have already been approached and declined. Oh well, thanks for everything none the less.

It's not the same list that Worm compiled. I'm guessing that it's some internal feature of the BethBlog that allowed him to compile it quickly.

EDIT: Though I agree that worm should get credit if it's his list.

Huh? That list of names/links has been in the original post in the interview request thread for a while - it gets updated quite regularly. Is that what you're referring to? Been there at least a month, maybe longer.

What do you mean by non-bethblog interviews? Do you mean interviews on other websites?

The list in the OP by worm has a bunch of interviews aside from the Bethblog interviews listed in the stickied thread. The stickied thread only lists the Bethblog interviews.

I don't get what you mean, though, unless I'm going very blind - what interviews that aren't on the Bethblog? I'm very confused - I can't see anything on that list that isn't from the blog. There are lots of other sites e.g. TESFanUnion and PES that do interviews, plus the ORE newsletter, but those aren't included on the list.

I guess I need to get some sleep ...
