They also confirm it has NOTHING to do with whether or not you install to the HDD. It seems the menu explanation is correct.

Frankly, I wouldn't have pursued the issue as you did. But I appreciate you ensuring the issue was brought to their attention, and for letting us know here.

That goes to show you what too much fanboyism and free time can accomplish.

I still find it odd that no reviewer mentioned this specific issue... or that the few live streams i've watched today (all on 360) none had this issue at all..

Maybe they didn't notice?

Maybe they did notice but they found it irrelevant to the overall experience?

Maybe it's not that frequent or re-occurring?

Maybe it depends on which XB360 model you are using?

Ok, so should I install the game or not? I saw a video where there was a clear difference between installed and noninstalled, but it was too short of time to tell which was better...

According to Bethesda, there is no difference.

Install, clear your cache, start it up and then you'll find out.

Why would clearing my cache help?

Because Oblivion made heavy use of HDD caching and more than likely Skyrim will too.

You'll still get the glitch, but clearing the cache may prevent it from happening as often.

If you do run into the glitch, the only confirmed workaround is to exit to the main menu and reload your last save.

If the menu really is causing it, why isn't it happening to every person playing the game?

why don't rag dolls spass out every time they hit the ground? its a glitch of the normal, non repeatable glitch that is not 100% guaranteed to work.

Better yet, if the menu is causing it, then why are people running from the disc not getting it? It only seems to happen to those who install.
