Bethesda needs a "Haters Gonna Hate" forum

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 10:55 am

I'm quite tired of seeing threads with people pissing and moaning about the most petty issues. Unfortunately people who are unsatisfied tend to be 6 times as loud as anyone who is pleased, so to all the people out there crying and screaming just know that for every one of you who is intent on nitpicking petty details to try and make this game sound terrible there is about 50 who are tickled pink.

So with that being said, for those of you who are liking this game, what is your favourite element of it and have you had any pleasant surprises?

I have only played it a bit, but so far my favorite element is the pure escapism that this game will provide to me. Being graduated and working 40+ hours a week plus business trip after trip is exhausting, but I am getting off work early today and get to spend the whole weekend living in Skyrim. Can't wait.

It's always like this for a few days after a big release, the people who love the game are too busy playing to bother posting. :foodndrink:

My advice is just to ignore the negativity. :P

So far, the funniest surprise was a cheeky comment from an NPC about rummaging in rubbish when I was checking out some barrels outside a house. :D

I was also very pleased and surprised with the detail and fun of the first side quest I picked up. The game is superb.

No Bethesda has to be accountable for. Todd Howard needs to be accountable for. Yes I love Skyrim. I love Bethesda, but they need to put their money where their mouth is. So far they have failed in alot of stuff. they have also excelled in alot of stuff as well. Still that doesn't mean they should get off scott free.

What Bethesda needs to do is to respond to posts in their tech support forum, and they aren't doing that. Lots of people are having technical issues with the game and Bethesda hasn't said [censored] they are a AAA dev for chrissakes, get it together and start addressing some problems.

What did they fail at? I've yet to see a single thing they lied about...

Sorry, I tried reading all of your post, but all I could hear was a slurping sound. Do we have another person competing to get on Bethesda's Christmas card list?

So people can complain all they want but if they praise the game at all they are brown nosing?

Right. That makes sense.

Complaining about complainers is not constructive.

Making a topic to complain about the complainers, however you dress it up, is not acceptable.

I have already had to edit one post in here for vulgar language - if you want to complain do so in a civil and respectful way, perhaps they will take the time to read it.
