To Bethesda,
This is the first game that I have purchased from you. I purchased it upon it's release and was initially impressed and in awe of everything about it. Unfortunately this has all changed and I now consider the game broken. I felt the need to register on your forum to communicate my disappointment with your latest "fix."

I am playing on the PS3 (newer 160 gb slim with a save file size of 6.5mb). I started noticing minor problems with "lagginess" within the last week of playing the game (prior to new patch). After downloading the latest patch last night, the game seemed ok at first but all is now haywire.

The graphics took a major hit. Loading times are 3X as long. I just spent 15 minutes attempting to chase down a dragon that would fly at hyperspeed from one horizon to the other. Oh, it was flying backwards by the way. I finally caught up with it when it got stuck flying backwards in a circle. It tried to breath ice at me but couldn't hit me with the angle it was flying (again, flying backwards). I could not do any damage, as the dragon did not show a health meter.

The graphics downgrade is huge and I cannot imagine anyone not noticing. Prior to the patch I considered the game one of the best out there and wandered around looking at how beautiful the artwork/graphics were. After the patch it looks very rough. Lighting, textures, details have all gone south. None of these problems (other than the lagginess that other people had) existed prior to the latest patch.

Please fix your game. I anticipate that you will make this right with your millions of customers. I unhappily will be setting the game aside until the next patch corrects the problems. Either that, or someone else will be buying my used copy. That would make me sad, as I regarded this as the best game that I owned. The latest patch did more harm than good.
