Now, let me just say that Skyrim is not by any means an awful game. If you want to see an awful game, go play the first Two Worlds. Skyrim, as is, is an incredible game. However, the sense of dissapointment I feel when venturing through it is too much to ignore. There are so many things that Bethesda could have done to truely put Skyrim heads above the rest, but THEY DROPPED THE BALL. Read any thread on this forum and they wil be stuffed with incredibley valid points and ideas and ways in which we were lied to. Besides multiplayer, Skyrim would have definitely benefited from Bethesda listening to their fans. My theory is that Todd Howard is aware of Skyrim's shortcomings. You could tell with some of the comments he made up to it's release. He has even said DLC will focus more on "improving the game, more than making it bigger." Either way, Bethesda is up to make the next move....
This thread is not for straight complaining, its not for begging Bethesda to add multiplayer, and it's not for douchebags who rushed through the entire game, fast traveling everywhere, killing everything in sight, and now are upset because the game is basically over for them. And if I see even one "...they should add a quest where you can get a gun through an Elder Scroll...." or "...why can't this game be Morrowind..." I will scream for about two hours straight. This thread is for intelligent discussion. Something to give Bethesda so they can use it as a constructive tool for future DLC and future games. As a fan of this medium it's important to remain smart, otherwise video games will fall victim to games like Call Of Duty, where eventually they start to mush together into one cluster of crap. Will Bethesda listen? Here's hoping...
