Bethesda thank you!

I've been a fan of the series since morrowind, back then I lived on allowance, so I downloaded it ilegally (for shaaaame). But the game amazed me so much that I saved up for it and bought an original copy.
After that I have bought every game and dlc made and I always enjoy them.

I've played trough oblivion like ten times and now, with skyrim I intend to do the same.
I have always played the games on pc, but skyrim was a bit to much for it. So I bought a ps3.
And even though there are bugs, and sometimes the game just freezes. I enjoy it, I really really enjoy playing the game.
(level 65, 120 hrs and 12 mb save, some bugs, no huge problems)

so thank you bethesda for making an awesome game!!

My opinion on:
PC VS Console
Though I am a allround gamer, and have always enjoyed playing pc games. My four year old pc just isn't up to scratch anymore. And the choice was either a new min. 1000 euro pc, or a 250 euro console.
And I love it, even though the graphics on pc can be better.
But there is another difference between consoles and pc:
I play the game on my 50 inch HD tv instead of my 24 inch (HD) monitor, while laying comfortably on the couch. With my home cinema surround on.
Skyrim wasn't solely made for pc, just browse trough the menu's and it's plain that these were made for consoles.
I really hope bethesda makes mods possible for consoles, but even without them the game is big enough to enjoy it for a long time.

BUGS:
It's crap, when there are bugs in a game that hinder you playing the game. But, seeing as how big this game is, it would be a downright divine miracle if it was bug free.
Bugs are common in games, even my old nes 8bit lagged or gliched. That's because good developers push their engines and scripts to the max.
I really hate it when people start complaining and demanding a refund, do these little dikeed pricks realize how much time and work goes into a game like this?
Imagine typing a hundred page essay, and then the whole thing doesn't work because you switched a dot . with a comma , somewhere. Good luck trying to find it.
At least bethesda is doing their best to try and fix everything. I bought fable 3 for pc and could not even get it to start properly, only to find out that lionhead and/or microsoft where doing absolutely nothing about it.
Same thing with the settlers 7.

I wonder if anyone can name one, 100% bug/lag free game?

Bethesda, I love skyrim, I really hope that the bugs get sorted out. But I haven't been enthralled like this by a game for a long time. I hope the dlc and expansions don't take to long!!!

I agree that the game is fantastic-- for PC and Xbox players at least.

The PS3 save file problem is pretty inexcusable, though, and I'm surprised that Bethesda wouldn't recall the copies due to their problems.

I have yet to encounter a gamebreaking bug, so it is easy for me to say I don't mind the bugs, but it is true: I don't mind the bugs. Besides I only encounter a bug every 10 hours or so, just some small glitch related to NPCs. Most games dont even last so long, so it is unfair to compare Skyrim to these short games. Besides those games often are level based and can easily be polished. An openworld game with its many variables that can interact with each other should be allowed to have more bugs as you cant playtest for them easily. Luckily most reviewers know this and judged accordingly.

My only issue with the game is the lack of ingame change look changer. I would love to change my haircut, add a scar, become older, etc. It would increase my enjoyment a lot. It is also easy to add for them, so I hope to see this added in the first DLC.

I have a ps3 copy, and yes there are bugs, and i've had a few freeze ups, but they aren't game breaking if you keep your game a bit tidy and wait 24 hours once in a while. And since most pc gamers spend hours tweaking their pc and/ or game.
I don't mind spending a few minutes to maintain my ps3 files. Even If you have to restart every hour (wich in my case isnt's neccecary luckily) That just takes less than 5 mins. I just don't see a problem.

You shouldn't be expected to have to do that. No other game makes you have to restart after a few hours, Skyrim shouldn't either. Plus, the more you play, the more often the lag and freezes appear. Even if you clean up after yourself and wait every now and again, you can't avoid it forever.

I have encountered a couple of gliches but nothing major. At one point all the barrels and boxes in white run appeared about 3 feet in the air. The occasional gltch just makes for an extra talking point in a massive and outstanding game. Well done bethesda and thank you.

I have a low end PC so I can't run it at full graphics. The only problem I've had was the terrible mouse lag. Now with the patches everything is smooth and very playable. When I first started the game I had a very hard time controlling my hero so I made him into a tank, heavy armor and two handed. If he managed to get in a hit at least it counted. Now level 40 in a smooth running game he's a deadly one hit killer, scary sometimes.
I haven't even bothered with the main quest yet, I'm an explorer.
Excellent game with months of replays
