Bethesda on the 2nd of September trademarked the name Soulburst under the description of ''Computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles; downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices; computer game software for use with on-line interactive games''.

Also note that the description given for Soulburst is nearly exactly the same as the description for downloadable content on other Bethesda titles.

But yeah, this is very interesting. I'm sure it'll probably be some add-on for ESO sometime in the future; not all of Tamriel will be released at launch, and those places will most likely be saved for expansion packs and whatnot.

I would place money on it being related to ESO. Either it will be a DLC or they will change the name of ESO to The Elder Scrolls Online: Soulburst. It is the defining event of the game that sets everything in motion and is pretty much guaranteed to be when Molag Bal displaced Nirn's position in the Mundus.

I would think it is a sure thing that it is related to ESO in amy case. Hell maybe it will be a novel that fleshes out events prior to ESO. That would be great! There are already two novels about TES.
