Bethseda ! Stop ! You're removing TES ! (2)

Hello There

Anyway , I want to open a discussion about the removal of features in Skyrim ( comparing to Morrowind and even Oblivion ).
Here's a clear list which only screams that out.

http://uesp.net/wiki/Differences_Between_Morrowind,_Oblivion,_and_Skyrim

The excuse might be the better appeal for the casuals , well I want to keep this civil and won't say the things I have in mind about the casual gamers.

Now what do you think ?

EDIT:

I completely agree , in some regards Skyrim is much better than Morrowind AND Oblivion.
Things like the dialogue , the world , etc.

EDIT2:
Very good explanation made not by me of the reasons for casuals hating:

Acrobatics was already an EXTREMELY useful skill in Oblivion. There was an entire alternate play style possible with maxed speed and acro, jumping over enemies' heads, leaping out of reach to snipe them, skipping puzzles in the Oblivion Gates by surviving leaps from fifty-storey towers or by skipping across lava. It was a really neat skill without being overpowered, and wasn't glitchy like in Skyrim.

Then they lolditched it to consolidate skills and dumb the game down for the casual gaming crowd, along with running speed (athletics), unarmed, mysticism, thaumaturgy, medium armour, unarmoured, all the perfectly sensible attributes, luck, situations where luck matters, spellmaking, logical enchanting, most options in conjuration, armour pieces (I know there is a technical reason for this one at least), and reputation with factions and in general. Let us all have a moment of silence for all the dozens or even pairs of things we have lost since Morrowind due to catering to a more casual-gaming crowd.

And this, my friends, is why hard- and mid-core gamers hate casuals.

EDIT3:
Another very good point made:

The problem isn't so much that lots of people out there can't/don't appreciate RPGs. It's that TES is supposed to be an open-world RPG series... and should therefore be aimed specifically at fans of open-world RPGs.

What Bethesda have done with Skyrim is they've tried to make it appeal to everyone with a games console or gaming PC. The end result is a popular game, but a poorer open-world RPG than it's predecessors.

This is thread number two , the first one can be found http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1402966-bethesda-stop-removing-the-game/.

Pointless thread is pointless. People's opinions have already been expressed on the previous thread, and now it's just a matter of arguing over those opinions.

You could experiment in Oblivion, with alchemy ingredients?

Over 1000 hours and I never noticed...

Edit: There are, imo, good things on the morrowind side, good things on the oblivion side and good things on the skyrim side.

In my opinion , Skyrim's Alchemy is much better , you can actually experiment blindly which pours hours into the mechanic.

Well I'm a casual player. I spend a lot of my time just looking around in TES games.

What exactly do you consider hard core? I've been playing since Daggerfall and they all seem like just walking around, enjoying the sights and talking to people.
