There were a few things regarding daedric weapons that didn't sit well with me like leather handles and the dull ebony looking materials. In Morrowind and Oblivion, Daedric was made out of two materials, metamorphic ebony and whatever gave it those red accents.

I think I see the difference. I haven't played (don't use) with Daedric weapons really. I've seen them, though. These textures look much more polished and sharper than the originals. I like it. It looks like Daedric metal and not some plastic blur.

Just a suggestion, maybe take brighter pictures (turn off ENB settings temporarily) so I can get a better look at them. I'd like to look at it some more. I have a thing for textures.

Vanilla daedric gear IS made of ebony. I don't know why you thought it was steel.

Regardless, your sword looks really good

Sorry..i just edited my post to clarify. It looks like its made of dull steel, despite the smithing formula requiring ebony.

I'm spending a lot of time on the mace as theres a lot of repeated textures on it, so I need to make sure you have a lot to look at.
