Better Imperial Armor

Post » Sat Aug 11, 2012 11:13 pm

One of the armors I REALLY want in the game is General Tullius' armor. If nothing else, then the Penitus Oculatus.

I've looked on the wiki's and it says the only way to get Tullius' armor is for him to die. The only way to get PenOcul armor is to do the Dark Brotherhood quests.

My current character, and Imperial Legionnaire, is trying to be a 'good-guy'. Meaning he is siding with Dawnguard, the Imperials, and only doing the Guild quests for the Companions. It's not logical/possible for my character to kill Tullius or the Oculatus.

How can I obtain them? There has to be another way.

I think you might be able to get the Penitus Oculatus armor ni Dragonbridge. There is a Penitus Oculatus Outpost there and I have seen generic Penitus Oculatus agents there so I doubt they are essential. Of course, I may be wrong.

That's the way it is. If you want Tullius' armor, join the Stormcloaks. If you want Ulfric's clothes, join the Legion. If you want any other good-looking clothes in this game, join the Dark Brotherhood.

I had to go way out of character with my law-abiding warrior to get her the Noble clothes I thought befitted her status as a very rich and successful adventurer, Thane of all holds, war-hero, world-saver and betrothed to the future High King. (The official story was that she bought them at Radiant Raiments.)

I just don't want that on my character's ledger.

Really should have used the Imperial Legion Armor from Oblivion. Now if that were to happen, every character of mine would join the Empire.

I felt that it deviated to much from Roman-era armor, which is what the Empire's armor should always be.

Morrowind had it decently, especially the Census and Concise fellow who directed you to Cauis Cosades.

Tullius and the other Imperial Legionnaires in Skyrim looked better in my opinion.

Cyrodillic Legionnaires have to much of a medieval look.

True, but I'll admit it looks a lot better than the leather like http://i.imgur.com/X0cRN.jpg. Obviously it gives very little protection.

Nice picture.

I actually prefer the armor of Skyrim. I'd actually prefer a complete clone of Roman armor truthfully. Now I will say that Imperial Heavy could indeed be better.
