So I'm doing the BTB quest. I have exposed the Mortimer and let him run away. I took Ted Gunderson from the freezer and tried to lead him to his father. The problem is, Ted stays close to the door near the dining hall and doesn't follow me! When I try talking to him, he says something like "You know if you knew what you were doing, I could be out hours ago", but he stays in place, taking a few steps from time to time. Talking with his dad won't do anything because he doesn't already know that I rescued Ted. How do i make this guy follow me again trough doors and to his father? Please help!

Same thing happened to me. When I took off the white glove outfit I was able to get him to go to his father.

At least you were able to get that option. I couldn't cook the meal after passing the Medicine check with the chef and getting him to quit and give me the recipes and the freezer key. I'd click the stove and nothing would happen - no messages saying I needed a particular skill at some level or anything else. I ended up having to drug the wine to get Ted out. At least he followed me.

It seems to be a buggy quest.

I had to do it three times to complete it. The first time ted wouldn't stop attacking me with the flamer for some reason?

What did u mean "OP"? Anyway i tried a few configurations and still nothing...

"OP" = "Original Poster"; you in this case.

If you're playing on the PC, you could try using console commands to trigger the quest completion. Get Ted's RefID, move near his dad and then use the moveto player command to bring Ted to you. Maybe that would get his dad to recognize he's been rescued.
