I played a lot of Doom 1 and 2 back in the day. I want to get Doom 3 off Steam. Should I get the BFG edition or the regular one?

More action-oriented than the regular one
Better framerate, 3D support
Includes Resurrection of Evil expansion, a new level campaign (The Lost Mission) and DOOM I and II (DOOM II also has an exclusive level pack)
HD support out of the box
You can hold your gun and your flashlight at the same time
Achievements
Multiplayer is kinda alive
Cons:
Some textures are badly compressed
Some effects are missing
Doom I and II are in 4:3 pillarbox
Too much ammo
