Well I upgraded to a new system with windows 7 64 bit a while back, and after spending many hours around that time trying to get Battle For Middle Earth 2 working, I gave up. I never asked here though if anyone had gotten it to work on a system such as mine, because I would still dearly like to play this game. I checked EA's Origin store to see if they sell it there, and maybe, you know, it would thusly be compatible with newer technology, but its not on there. If anyone has found a way to play it on a 64 bit system, I would love to know how.

unzip into C:/users/(your user name)/AppData/Roaming (the folder is hidden, so you need to check "show hidden files")

I expect the reason it isn't on their store anymore is because they stopped supporting the online mode. Multiplayer was half the fun of that game, so for them to sell it now would be like selling an incomplete product.

Shame really... I used to love BFME 2's multiplayer so much.
