Is it me or does the world map appear to be expanding slightly with the release of dawnguard and then again with dragonborn?

I'm hoping there comes a time when we can scan the entire world map of the planet Nirn, and view it just as we are able to with Skyrim's topographical world map.

The "world map" of Skyrim is quite small compared to the whole of Tamriel. But I do hope, in some distant future, there's a game with the whole of Tamriel. (Not counting TESO)

TESO will likely have it all but it is very unlikely any other Elder Scrolls Game will with the exception of Arena which also has it all.
