Who is more useful? I personally use the blackmarket for the convienence of not hoarding things I pick up but he can only buy so much (2000 gold). While the Butler is just another incentive for me to fill up a cubbard with dozens of armor sets.

I picked up the butler. Seriously, Dragonborn should have brought an update to merchants, making them have more money for trade. Just by exploring the Black Book which unlocks this power you already get more itens than what the Black Market can buy. If that Daedra had 10000+ gold, i'd take him. For now, i need someone to carry my secondary armor and drops

I'm in heavy armor, with the steed skill (only one I ever found worthwhile), as well as full heavy armor perk tree.

I can basically carry several additional full sets of heavy armor, without maxing my weight.

So I got the black market guy. I'm assuming his wares/gold limit resets daily??? I hope...

They're basically just as useful, but I went with the butler.

Black Market. Most of the time I'm overencumbered it's because of carrying stuff I plan to sell, not keep.

Sorry, I saw you asked about it in another thread. It's a reward for reading a black book. I think it's the one in .. the cave that starts with B and has a lot of Reiklings. Belkongerike?.. no idea. Something kind of like that.

I heard it was a couple of days like other merchants. One of the reasons why I picked the Butler but I'm thinking of perhaps switching anyways.
