Greetings folks,

I am having a ton of issues getting this armour. I have started a new character specifically for Dragonborn and had to restart my character due to a few glitches the dlc has.

The second time i am running through it which is right now i am only running into an inability to get the Blackguard armour. I have read you need to be a member of the thieves guild which i am and the dialogue options to launch the paid in full quest don't appear. I've tried everything i can to seemingly get it to launch, talked to Delvin, sapphire, read the shadowmarks book etc but nothing will seemingly work.

Does anyone know specifically what activates the dialogue with Glover cause this is kind of annoying.

I joined the thieves guild, did goldenglow, and didnt get it. Which confused me because I did before. Turns out I forgot to turn in the Queen Bee like I did last.

I dont think you have to do the Queen Bee, I think that counts as like doing a Fishing Job or something.

Yep did that and still nothing. I joined and did the first mission and nothing at all. I have read that in some instances you have to be a ways into the questline.. which doesnt make a ton of sense to get an awesome suit of thieves guild armour after the questline is over.

Well besides the nightingale and master armour of course lol.

1. Taking Care of Business:
Complete, follow Brynjolf, meet Frey, 'You're in', get Loud and Clear initialized, talk to Bryn
2. Meet the Family
Talk to Bryn, Talk to Delvin Mallory, Talk to Vex, receive TG armor from Tonilia

That should enable Glover Mallory's dialogue option. If not we'll just have to wait for the pc release so we can look at files more closely.
Maybe there's a level requirement, etc. As of now, however, the above two steps are the only known requirements.

All I did was join the guild and intimidate the 3 merchants and I was able to get the dialogue from Glover.

Yeah absolutely nothing for me, i'm standing infront of Glover and nothing again and again.

Le sigh.

Well hopefully somone else has run into this problem at some point and figured out a way to initialize it.

I read the Shadowmarks book beforehand. Accepted a job from Vex and Delvin. Accepted the Goldenglow job. That's all I did and I was still able to get the quest.

Okay, weird now i have the dialogue options and all ive done is travel back and forth between Skyrim and Solstheim.

I heard you need to do a job for delvin and a job for vex.

I'm very disappointed with the Blackguard armor. Should have been unenchanted, had completely different enchants, or looked different from Linwe's. the only redeeming quality is no arm glitch.

Don't get me wrong, it is my favorite armor model(thieve's guild, guild master, Linwe/BG) but completely redundant in all ways.

Huge let down.

Glover has a Stockpile of that armor.
And he manages to not sell any of it.
He'd be a [censored] millionaire!

Just read shadowmarks after you join the guild. You have to be able to recognize the shadowmark on his door.
