2 blade of woe's : V

i heard there was a way to obtain two of these.. one from the quest and another how? i cannot find the thread that says how.. could anybody share it with me?

You could use the console commands to give yourself one. I'm fairly certain that however people are getting two naturally is just a bug. I've gotten duplicate weapons before when I just pick one up and it still stays on the ground.

UESP account on "With Friends Like These..." says you can steal a Blade of Woe from Astrid. The problem being I think it's just a lie (I've seen her inventory there, empty), so there

Its not a bug, jesus christ, does no one ever try pickpocketing?

If you can pickpocket one and then get the other later, then yes it is a bug. Lore-wise (and supposed to be game-wise) there is only one Blade of Woe. It's a dark brotherhood artifact, not a common item.

I've done it, you can pickpocket it when inside the shack.

this is the answer im looking for.. damn inside the shack im past that part.. is there a way later or should i backtrack my saves?

Oh Jesus, I didn't see the notes clearly. I thought I need a perk that increases my chance. Turns out I need a perk to strip her off, my mistake.

Alright, so you can pickpocket her stuff. My bad. But how did you get away with it?

How did I get away with it? By having max pickpocketing, and + pick gear I snatched her entire uniform off plus the dagger.

OP, if you want a second blade of woe that badly, just look up the console command to give it to yourself. You're not supposed to be able to pickpocket one anyway, so you may as well just console one in once you get the other.

i went back to the save to try this but i guess i need the perk and im not going to spend for it.. guess ill have to live w one blade of woe.. i tried pickpocketing it w/out the perk and she has nothing. oh well.

why bother when you can jsut enchant a dagger with even higher absorb health which is what i do makes me laugh its the vampire life drain animation so im basically a vampire lol they svck so much in this game

You're detected all the time. By the time you managed to get one item from her, you should've been caught

use invisibility to get hidden before pickpocet ,have the perk for stealing equiped gear and your set. There is a glitch that you can have 2 times the same weapon from an enemy you killed too. Kill someone take the weapon of ground then loot the corpse for the same weapon.

Show me a citation showing the devs never intended for you to get a second one please.

You want to know why you can pickpocket a 2nd dagger? Because she is intentionally holding the dagger when you meet her in the cabin. Why? Because you can kill her, forego the dark brotherhood altogether, and get the dagger right there if you want, with the armor.

Or you can steal it, then later on earn another anyways.

Its not a bug. Not a glitch. DEAL with it.
