Some of the info and I want to stress that this was written info not visually confirmed mentioned that there is a contextual cover fire system for the player character. So if it really is there at least there is some groundwork already built for improvement.
i don't know i could keep it together if they added that what they should do is contract Visceral Games to make all the player death animations for fallout 4 that would be very sweet.
"Warning do not click link if squeemish" some bits there work i still think they best in the biz for player death lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_4A48tYozU
Good luck sniping them, when they can burrow underneath the ground and wait for you to come near before popping up. Yeah, Bethesda just found a counter to Snipers.
After seeing the leaked footage from players, Deathclaws are pretty much a joke. Someone in Bethesda who was designing their mechanics dropped the ball hard, because it seems they installed a 'proccing' program, where if something happens, the program activates a chance to cause an action, so for the Deathclaw, it seems anytime it's being fired upon, there's a chance that the Deathclaw will try to 'dodge', or bob and weave to the left or right, depending on where the bullets are coming from. This sounds good on paper, but when you have something like a minigun in your hands, what you get is a HILARIOUS result: the Deathclaw's dodging mechanic procs to the point the player makes it 'dance' to the left and bonk it's head into a truck, to which the Deathclaw awkwardly walks around it before trying to attack the player again. This happens again later on and makes the Deathclaw 'dodge' into it's own hole it came out of, and was killed right after.
Bethesda dun goof'd up.
I'm deliberately not watching the footage, but this sounds really awesome. I'm super hyped for FO4! First thing on the menu: Deathclaw Omelette.
Cuase the deathclaw is not paying attention to it's surrounding when getting fire upon.
This works in real life too,I have two cats I play with and use a water gun to chase them.
Bunch of time's they run and hit the wall or each other and I LMAO.
one day the cats will get even. with hairballs in your shoes. or worse.
Oh they already have,I have some scratch marks and bites.
Now you've done it. That's going to be in my head when I'm playing.
