I seem to have developed a permanent shimmering blue aura effect around my player avatar... which is driving me nuts. Does anyone know anything about this, or how to remove it?

Any items on you with Waterbreathing or Enhance Magicka Enchantments? Both these things turned my char into a blue lightbulp.

Can you get us a screenshot? If you're on PC then it may be a mod that you've downloaded. After installing a lighting mod I noticed that I get a very faint glow to characters and objects sometimes. It disappears as quickly as I notice it so it doesn't cause me any serious problems though.
Thanks for the replies. This effect seems to have come on recently, and I haven't changed the enchantments on the armor I am wearing... but I will try to switch things out and see if that helps. I will also try and grab a screenshot.
Potion or poison you've been hit with? If you go into the magic menu and 'current effects' it will give you a list of all spells and enchantments you've currently got on you. Saves you going through all your item menus.
I have no active ill effects, nor anything new that I didn't have before this effect started. I can't seem to upload pictures without having them hosted first. Anyway, the "aura" seems to be generating from under my feat, and is mostly localized to my lower body (3rd person), but is constatly waving past my vision in FP mode.
Its a graphic issue that pops up from time to time. Most of the time it will only effect the enchantment tables, yet I uses to get what I call the blue glitch and it not only turns my character a light blue, but other npc's as well. No there is not cure for it, only way I found to get rid of it for awhile is to delete all save files except the last one. Go to game data utility and delete the Skyrim file there out. Reinstall the game file with update and start the game. The blue effect should be gone for awhile.
