boethiah's embrace and shadowmere

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 12:29 am

I would like to see these two as powers in a DLC or something! (Playing on Xbox 360).

boethiah's embrace would be very nice if it worked like night sight does for khajiit's, so you can turn it off if you need to use your bow (very hard to see otherwise) AND you can use it with any armor you want.

Shadowmere should work like the spectral assassin, summon the horse once a day.

Please make this happen Bethesda!

EDIT:

Or make it possible to re-spawn shadowmere in the black pool outside the db sanctuary.

Leave her alone. If she dies, then you would need to wait a day to summon her again , anyway.

Still, I don't think that will be changed. I say that with the utmost confidence.

yes i need to wait 1 day, now i need to wait 10 at the exact same spot! The could make it so you can re-summon shadow mere outside the falkreath sanctuary otherwise. The place she spawns the first time. But my main request would be boethiah's embrace as a power. Would be awesome to be able to use db gear or nightingale gear with that effect.

if shadowmere was a power she prob would disappear as soon as you enter a cave or anything and than you need to wait a day to get a horse for the ride back. she fine as she is, if you dont want to wait 10 days DONT GET HER KILLED

Well that's not as easy as it sounds all the time. She attacks everything! The crazy horse stormed a forsworn camp for me and couldn't handle it. So my point is, i would like a faster way to respawn the the devil. Like outside the falkreath sanctuary where she first get spawned.

how about help her out instead of watching her die?

for her respawning at the sactuary sure it make sense, still think there should be a waiting period for getting her killed though if it is one or ten days doesn't really matter to me

Of course i'm helping, but sometimes they all attack her and i can't kill them all before i die. I can't storm the camp since i'm an low health assassin. If my char go head to head with 3+ enemies i'm dead. And yes i could make an insane overpowered character but imo if you're an assassin's you be afraid of toe 2 toe combat.

Yeah sure if there is an waiting period if she dies. But you shouldn't need to wait in the same spot for 10 days or remember the spot for her to reappear. To me it would be more logical to get her from that black pool at the sanctuary.

yeah the same spot thing is stupied, are you sure it's not a bug? in that case you can call for a fix instead of a new power.

as for fighting you should try dual wield two daggers (with speed perks), it works great on my "low health assassin" no one can get a hit on you if you isn't one of those dual wielder who think it's a good idea to do nothing else than to spam power attacks.

yeah after i thought about it i think spawn location is better. About dualwield: Yes iknow, but i only try silent kills otherwise i use bow or run away. If i get hit 1-3 times (depending on enemy) I'm usually dead. And if there's 10 forsworn i'm certainly dead if i rush in hehe.

But my main request would be getting boethiah's embrace as a power instead of a heavy armor. You're meant to use that armor for stealth, and when you get it you probably played light armor only, or if you've played with heavy armor until then you're most likely not intressted in being a stealth character. So it would be a lot better if they made a DLC for us console players so we can get it as a power instead. :)

true, i hate that fact that boethiah's embrace is heavy and a stealth armor. any stealth character should use light armor no matter what anyone say

Using the ebony mail, self made muffled shoes (magnitude of 1 regardless of enchanting level) and weightless armor, sneaking in heavy armor is superior than light armor.

Yes iknow there's no problem sneaking in heavy armor. But it's stupid. What theif or assassin would gear up in heavy armor? the shrouding affect should be a power or necklace. Like i said, someone playing assassin i skyrim is more likely to play with light armor. Imagine new player, they have no idea about ebony mail. I didn't, and when i got it i was very disappointed it was heavy since i've already spend points in the light armor tree.

Or the game should give you a light armor if you have more points in light when you finish the quest. An armor that looks like db or nightingale armor with this effect.

It's not mandatory for sneaking, you can sneak much easier with light armor to start of with. I like that there's an item for heavy armor sneaking, so I can make more versatile builds.

Well most sneaky players i've seen want the shrouding effect but not the heavy armor. Which would be solved with a power or necklace. And the armor is meant for sneaking, WHY else would boetiah want you to kill silently and the armor makes you move silent.

If it was a power then the player can choose heavy and light. The armor he/she prefers. Alot better if you ask me :)
