What's the point of getting any new items? They look good and they're useful, if they're adding new armor and weapons it's kind of nice to get ONE new piece of jewelery.

I mean whats its significance? the amulet along with the bug helmet dont seem related to anything. I feel like it was just tossed in there. Unless someone can explain it to me.

They were just tossed in, they're nice little extras.
Though the Shell bug helm does match the new Falmer armor, so it's kind of an alternate to the basic one. Suppose that gives it a point.
