I collect books. Now my home will show my lore geekness.

Thanks Bethesda.

Yes! It may be weird but the "Activate Bookshelf" for placing books on shelves is one of my favorite additions to the Elder Scroll games! It used to take me FOREVER in Morrowind and Oblivion to put all my books on shelves, now it is easy as pie!

Yeah love this little addition, just wish they could hold more books.

Except I can't get any of them to work... the books immediately fall over when you place them, I wish they would at least bring Oblivions grab system back, sure it was tedious but at least it worked.

Yes, this is something that may not be any major game-changer, but I certainly like to see this sort of addition to the game.

You fill them up and they don't do that. Also it helps if you place the books in order of size on the shelf.

It's in the game. If you're on either the 360 or the PS3, hold down the A or X button, respectively, for a few seconds then let go to drag the object around and click A/X again to let go. Not sure how the PC version works... does spacebar need to be held down?

Ditto that. A DLC that offers a house featuring its own library would be AWESOME.

I am Dovahkiiin, and I GREATLY approve of this message. A DLC pack adding a personal library would be the best thing ever..

Ya I know its there but it svcks, instead of grabing items from the edge it rips them towards you and centers them, you can't fine tune anything anymore, once an object is down you can't grab it again without ruining its position.

Actually, I remember some mods that actually let you drop and deploy your own custom furniture in Oblivion, so that you could decorate your houses yourself. Plus, that bookshelves holding books without having to manually arrange them thing was also a mod, first, before Bethesda copied it. (And don't get me wrong, I wish they'd copy more mods.)

Am I the only person who has experienced my bookshelf in my home eating my books? I put some books on it and they were displayed. It told me I could add some more so I did and it replaced my first books with the second lot and the first set of books have vanished :-(

Bookshelf's works fine for me, pity that you only can have 20 books in a shelf...weapon racks don't work as they should, weapons is misplaced on them.

The bookshelf was a great addition... I just wish I could put stuff around my home without it flying off the shelf by the next time I return. Gets annoying. Anyone else experience that? Any advice?

Also hate the centering grab, makes it extremely difficult to place things(but I guess if it's gonna fly off onto the floor why bother trying)
