so...nope! Now I am.

there are some minor changes around the guild, but the best one is this....

What...? I'm confused.. From what I've gathered.. You did the main TG story with Nocturnal and all that, and thought that was the end of it, and just recently discovered you weren't done? You also get more fences, a couple new members walking around and a whole slew of new merchants in the Flagon

I gave back the skelton key, got nocturnal power, and I thought I was done with the main theives quest. I thought the radiant repeat quests were for a) an achieveent, B) for fun!

I was trying to get more of the TG radiant quests done, so that there would be more merchants and stuff. I had read that there was "stuff to do" after the big nightengale stuff....but when I killed mercer and returned skeleton key, Brynjolf and Karliah had already told me I should be guildmaster.

so when I next got back to guild, I thought I already was. did not know armor and ceremony were to come later.

and the armor was ok. nice to get! but kinda expected. the bed was just icing on a delicious cake of theives.

saw bed on image shack. nice. I like how it is totally out of place for the sewer setting.

so what else happens after you become guildmaster? do you get to direct other thieves to steal stuff?

No, everything is pretty much the same, you can do radiant quests, receive training, etc. The Guild itself does receive multiple upgrades however. Plus people from all around the province will comment on the Thieves Guild every once in a while.

You get more fences all of who have more money so you can finally sell that really expensive stuff for what it's worth! You also get guild master armor which is awesome though still not nearly as good (ultimately) as stuff you can craft yourself. You get a 'guild master tribute chest' which is filled up with nice goodies for you to use/sell every now and then. You get the sweet ass bed with a privacy screen. You get some new characters to talk to. That's about it, you can't tell them to steal stuff or anything unfortunately. I was still happy to be guildmaster though just for the increased fence money.

How do you initiate the ceremony? I've done the nightingale quest and brynjolf said I was guild master etc but I haven't had a ceremony.

Do I just have to keep doing the burglary, shill etc missions?

you have to do the important radiant quests for each city. basically do enough quests from vex and the guy and i think after 5 quests for one city, you'll get it's important quest.

Do this for all 4 cities they talk about, and the main quest, and you shall start the ceremony.

One quest each from Vex and Delvin in each of five cities unlocks a special quest in each city.

I did Bedlam and Sweep jobs in each city at the same time for speed. You can cancel jobs, so I just kept cancelling until I had Bedlam and Sweep jobs both in the same city that I needed. Delvin will give you the special quests.

After you have done the special quest in each of the cities they will hold a ceremony making you Guild Master, the guild will get a minor facelift, with lots of merchants, crafting stuff, skill trainers and companions added.
