I realized with badass ranks that in the beginning, you'll get them very slowly. I played something like 12 hours and only got to 500 badass points. Next day I played a couple of hours and got past 1000. Currently sitting on something like 1600.

Zer0's one-shot-one-kill skill is amazing. For tactical playing and ammo saving, I can shoot once and then reload to get the 60% bonus again. And weapons with low magazines also benefit from it a lot. For example this double-barrel shotgun I found, consumes 2 bullets per shot and has 2 bullets in a magazine. It always gets the added 60% damage.

I also love the way that shock-weapon reloads.

man playing co-op split screen is so much better, Played all night without realizing it (haven't done that it a long time). Loving the zer0 class, although i'm not sure i did the right perk tree. Also found the minecraft easter egg, i think they should have given two heads...now i'm stuck with just the checkerboard skin

I think I'm going to abandon my Maya playthrough and go with Zero.


Edited- Changed my mind, I'll be sticking with Maya. I have a theory that I'm going to test out, if it works then it solves a lot of problems I'm having right now.

pre order yes. and i think they might be going the way of team fortress 2 and selling additional keys. ive got no evidence of this really but thats what i think based on the message that pops up when trying to access the golden chest with out a golden key.

which is fine i guess, since it doesn't prevent any one from playing the game normally.

Partly due to forum history and tradition, but mostly because of practical reasons. I for one wouldn't want to see 50 pages long threads on these forums.

As mirglof said, pre-order. However, you can get an additional key if you sign up to something in-game, a gearbox thingy (or something?).
