I heard the same thing, apparently the graffiti inside is related to the second DLC (which may involve Joshua Graham, the Burning Man) and in the game files is found in a folder for DLC content.

The bunker is unlocked in my game. You are talking about the Abandoned BoS Bunker right? Over by Ranger station something-or-other? It was locked one day and said that it required a key and then I ran over to it to show my buddy where it was and it was miraculously unlocked. <---This was pre-patch 1.01.

That would be pretty uncool, force people to by DLC to get at a skill book that was in the game originally? Not to mention how long the people on PS3 and PC would have to wait to get in. I was already in there because I went before I got the first patch, but now I'm worried if the fact I was in there already could cause problems when I try to play the DLC.

I was able to enter pre-patch, and with patch 1.01. But, as I said when I first found it, it was locked and then when I went back to show my buddy to see if he had found a key for it, it was magically unlocked and I was able to stroll right in.

If they accidentally forgot to lock it, then locked it in the first patch, it isn't really considered in the game unless you have that DLC.

sealed shut, which is [censored] cuz the only reason I went through that mine-riddled field was to get the skill book, which is firmly shut away with Elijah the great [censored] who will apparently tell us how to access the DLC we won't get for another good 6 months, at least...

I don't recall any mine field around the Abandoned BoS bunker at all. Again maybe I'm thinking of the wrong location since, no one answered me originally.

if you didn't come across any mines you are one lucky SOB. I think you have the right location, the only way to get to it(I'm pretty sure) is through the mine field between camp forlorn hope & Nelson(or wherever dead sea is).
