Hey guys,

I have just traveled to the Temple of Ruunwald after going through the excavation site. I can't get past a locked door because it says I need to have a key. I have scoured all over the circular room you first drop in to, looted the ornate chest, and have found no key. There are two pathways I can see that lead out, one leads to a locked door that leads to Skyrim. The other is the one I just mentioned, and I assume Floentius is on the other side.

Did I miss the key back in the ruins?

If I did I am essentually stuck here for all eternity. Help!

I think you when through the wrong entrance maybe, did you go in a cave or through a door

I went through a cave at the very beginning, and at the end of the ruins is where I found the door to the temple.

And I've been on youtube and I can't find a walkthrough, that's why I am asking for help here.

Hmm. It was apparently a bug. I went back to an earlier save in the ruins and this time was dropped into a different champer in the temple that leads directly to Floentius in his cage.

So apparently if this happens to anyone else, reload your save from the ruins because you can sometimes get dropped off in the wrong chamber and be effectively stuck there.
