find out if the mic actually is working

i never get replies to anyone ingame and the people that do reply usaully dont have a headset themselves

when i play back what i said before sending it seems crystal clear and audible (to point i can hear background music coming from my tv)

but often times when ingame chat happens its like 1/500 games where ill hear some one else that isnt a bunch of broken up sounds and actually words

It will most likely have a light on it that will shine. In the Case of the X12 Headset, it will hsine Red when you have it switched off, and it will shine green when it is switched on.

That said, what type of Turtle Beaches do you use?

how do i fix Echo ?? everythign i say and every sound for mmy tv is plaed back through the headset a few seconds later

Read the manual. Seriously, why do you constantly come asking the forum to help you figure out things you should be able to easily figure out yourself if you just read a manual or search on Google?
