Bound weapons question : V

I know the game has not been released, but I wish to hear some speculation here.

I am planning to become a pure mage. Magic in both hands. But when in certain situations, I'll need some kind of blade to block myself with. So I will bound a sword. My question is, will any of the sword skill affect the bound sword/weapons?

It should. It did in previous games and it would be fairly unbalanced to not.

I expect every hit with a bound sword will increase the appropriate skill, either 1 or 2h.
