Bounty=game over? : V

my bounty in whiterun is really big now, killed like 20 civilians/guards, now I can't talk to the whiterun Jarl, cuz I got tons of guards after me -.-, is this Game-Over?

It says in the game if your bounty gets ridiculously high, they won't bother trying to arrest you, they will just kill you on sight. Which is realistic, imo. If you they know you've killed 20 civilians, why would they jail you?

Sheath your sword and hit x then they will speak to you and take you to jail

I have the exact same problem. I killed some elves on the road to whatever town, to free a prisoner, and now every Whiterun guard wants to kill me. I can't even pay the fine or go to jail. I'm just killed on sight.

Go to the Thieves Guild, they can get rid of your bounty.

@Diastro You can get those guys to attack you first(that way you don't get a bounty), talk to them and tell them you worship Talos.

Join the Thief guild, and you will be able to off your bounty.

"I just murdered 20 people and now the whole town wants me dead!!"; well go figure.
If you insist going on massacres, then a 3 day wait away from the place your wanted will probably clear your problems, personally I don't see the appeal myself, there are plenty of bandits and creatures to kill.
