Bounty System and Crime

Though I believe it was previously said not to be in the game, http://teso-rp.com/forum/page/1/m/9324623/viewthread/6340538-i-played-teso-at-pax-east says otherwise:

Some other bits of note: critters throughout Daggerfall could be attacked and killed, such as rats, chickens and pigs, but the humanoid NPCs would not react to being attacked. One of the devs beforehand told us that while killing friendly NPCs was not slated to be in the game, there was going to be a bounty system if you did things like kill their livestock. He also said that theft would be in the game at launch, allowing you to wantonly steal things around town, which would incur a bounty if noticed.

They are slowly but surely fixing every problem I had with the game.

It's almost like they are making a multiplayer Elder Scrolls instead of a WoW clone.

We can kill pigs? BACON!

Honestly, I'm impressed that they might have that down before launch.. this really is going to be one solid game. Also since it was said NPCs won't respond to being attacked sort of indicates that I can press the left mouse button and swing even if I'm not in combat - I have little to no issues with this game right now, combat is seemingly very similar to Tera based off that.

Really going to love the crime system, ZOS has thoroughly impressed me, time and time again.
