"Break of Dawn" Glitch, 60hrs, Quest Unplayable

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 12:19 pm

Once I placed the beacon onto the pedestal I encountered a glitch that is making the quest impossible to play. The beacon which I'm supposed to guide back to Meridia's temple is nowhere to be found. If I set this quest as my only active and walk towards the marker, it disappears with no trace of the beacon. I've scoured the area and it's nowhere to be found. This and the lag I'm experiencing at 8.7 MB which started around 6.0MB is becoming exponentially worse. I truly hope the upcoming patch fixes these issues and all others who have posted their grievances.

I made a thread earlier addressing this glitch, but I wanted to stress how disappointing it is to have this glitch (and to put more detail into the glitch I'm experiencing) in a big quest on top of the ever increasing lag, increase of save time, increase of load time et cetera.

well, SkyrimJoe - as long as your avatar is sooo easy on the eyes, you make as many threads you want ... please! :hugs:

As for the description of the bug: Is it possible not wanting to play the most wanted game all year? well ... yes it is. :obliviongate:

Haha thanks mang, I appreciate the support.

I'm holding out hope for the patch fixing the game, but I'll probably end up getting a copy for the PC.

Giving my thread a bump in the hopes that it'll be read by someone who can address the problem I'm having in this big quest.

Other than this bug, another small bug with a side-quest, some dancing dragon bones and the ever increasing lag, the game ran like a charm for a little while then started to crash and burn.
