I exclusively use Breezehome for all my saves and it works perfectly. That's crazy though.

That's strange. Try saving there, restarting the game, and loading that save... if the glitch doesn't occur I'd be surprised.

Anyway, hope this helps Bethesda. I work on games for a living and just want to help make the game more playable for others so it feels less like they wasted money on a bugs nest.

That's what I mean. After I bought the home, I do nothing BUT save and reload from Breezehome.

On the other hand, I haven't married in-game and my house is fully upgraded. I assume that woman walking around is your wife?

Nope, she just... came with the house. I'm not exactly a guy who would marry a woman ;P

Pretty sure that woman was Lydia, your house carl for Breezehome...how do you have the house but not have Lydia?

I assume that's tongue in cheek. haha.

(though if it's not, that's pretty bad. No one should come with the house. Also, is your house upgraded, you know, when not glitching?)

Fully. I never stepped foot in it before buying 100% of the furnishings.

Seriously? After defeating the dragon on the behest of the Jarl of Windhaven, he rewards you by making you a Thane of the city, with the right to purchase Breezehome, and a house carl, Lydia. A Thane is like being a city lord, and a house carl would be similar to being a knight/soldier in your employ. Once you have Breezehome, Lydia will live there... unless you loose her through a bug or she is killed in the game.

Lydia doesn't come with the house, but she is put into your service when you are made Thane.

Interesting, I never even talked to her when I defeated the dragon. She really just came with the house and started to worship me. I try to tell her to leave but she keeps coming back.

Pretty crazy. I saved countless games in Breezehome and loaded from the MM. Never happened to me though...

I've run into this several times. Reloading fixes it. So does leaving the building and coming back.
