So I finally bought my house for 5000. The bookshelf works. My upgraded bedroom has the chest but I can only search it (and its empty). I am not able to put stuff in the storage chest or the weapons rack. PS3. How does one do these things?

well to store in a chest you go through your items and press aquare on the stuff u want to store ...

as for weapon racks choose the weapon you want to mount on it and equipt that weapon then press x to mount it .

Sometimes you'll have to buy the house 5 or 6 times before the racks and other stuff works in a house. If you save your game with racks that don't work then you'll be stuck with them that way forever.

In the future, save your game right before purchasing each house. After purchasing, go to thwe house and make sure you get "activate" promps from your racks, plaques, and shelves before saving. If they all work, THEN save your game and they will always work from then on.
But like I said, it may take a bunch of times before everything works. The houses are very glitchy.
