other than the lucky 38 is there a way to bring our weapons to the hotel room at the tops cause its kinda a bummer to get the room but not be able to bring your weapons in the room.

Well I don't know for sure but...

that ain't viable, that entrance is only an option if you basically kill mr house and not only that the exit is in vault 22 or whatever and thats way too much hassle to get in the hotel from, so if anyone knows if you get to bring your weapons in the casino rooms that you live in let me know.

If you pass all the speech checks (45 Speech for all three) with Swank before facing off with Benny, you can get all your weapons into the Tops. There is just one catch: the Tops Presidential Suite is not a secure location, anything you store there can and will be stolen by the Chairmen guards patrolling the hallway nearby.

next playthrough i'll try that, i notice the guys inside the casinos respawn so its not possible to take over a casino too bad, it would be kinda fun. but it is astonishing, it does have the tops and i'm pretty sure the ultra lux listed as official housing yet you can't really store your weapons in the room, thats part of the fun.

One time i was walking through the Lux after getting my suite and suddenly i hear this SWOOSH!!! and am confronted by a night kin who is attempting to sell me "Wind Brahman" long story short i buy the "Wind Brahman" and he proceeds to beating the crap out of the WGS, the banker opened the very hard lock and ran around proclaiming how hopeless it was, so me being the opportunist i am took a look and found all my confiscated goods in a metal box.

Edit: So just get into the banker boxes for your stuff.

Before facing Benny at the Tops, talk to Swank and start running down through dialog options. That will disable the weapon strip script for that location for the rest of the game, assuming you didn't take any shortcuts and dashed strait to Vegas on the I-15 after leaving Goodsprings.
