Whats the big deal? Put a splint on it and play. I'v done that before. Just don't jab the buttons like a lunatic and it won't hurt.

I'm not a troll, jerk. I'm actually really bummed out. It IS in a splint, which makes my thumb too long to realistically press buttons in a battle situation. I've been drooling over Skyrim since February and been anticipating it since Oblivion. =/

Not to mention that it's excruciatingly painful to put any pressure on it. At all.

Sorry about that bro, that's awful, you are a console player I presume. I dislocated my finger a few years ago but I snapped it back into place, good ol' human body.

I've decided that I'm just going to get drunk and play.

Being a 210 pound, muscular college student (I work at a production company and I am a carpenter. =) ) I don't get very woozy before my limbs start to tingle, my tolerance is high and I'm a pretty functional drunk. So... w00t!! Skyrim after all. =) I won't even CARE that the bones in my thumb look like BC powder inside the fleshy covering.

Rally!! I remember when I had shoulder surgery and was laid up for a week it hurt to move my arm/hand/shoulder in any way. But I didn't have anything else to do so I said "Eff that noise" and just started gaming anyway. The motion (even though it was just my fingers) hurt at first but went away after a bit. Woulda gone nuts if I was just stuck in the house with no games to play....

Anyway...rally past that [censored]! (Whiskey helps)
