Brynjolf bug : V

Hi,

I have a problem with Brynjolf. I'm in the Ratway. I just completed the quest with the ring and now I'm supposed to follow him to meet someone but he doesn't go anywhere. I'm on PC. Is there anything I can do to get around this problem?

I found this in the wiki, I think it will solve your problem. Is Brynjolf in the Ratway with you?

Brynjolf won't finish creating his distraction in the Market. The effect is that everyone will remain in the center of the market plaza, being told the "news" repeatedly and Brynjolf will not move, therefore not going to the Ragged Flagon to meet you for the next quest.

May be caused by:
- Completing the quest but not moving forward to the next Thieves Guild quest immediately
- Planting the ring at night
- Speaking with Brynjolf before his distraction is finished.

May be solved by:
- Console command clearquestaliases TG00SP.
- Stand by the right corner and use the shout http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Slow_Time. This can cause Brynjolf to walk to the Ragged Flagon.
- Trick/Force Brynjolf:
  - Push Brynjolf to the door to The Ratway (by either sprinting at him or using the Unrelenting Force shout, then yielding to or healing him).
  - Tell any followers you have to wait in Riften, save, then activate the door and quickly talk to Brynjolf. If this does not work, reload and retry.
  - Once you're in The Ratway with Brynjolf, attack him and run to The Ragged Flagon. Once inside, have him chase you all the way up to the bar, then yield.
  - Talk to Brynjolf quickly, before he can leave to go back to his stall, and he will give you the next part of the quest.

I have a similar problem, this fix did not work and he isn't stuck doing the distraction. He freely walks around but doesn't enter the tavern at all. If I get him there, all he says is "Hmm?" No console commands that I found have helped thus far.

Hi

Thanks, but I've already followed him to the Ratway and spoken to him. After our conversation I'm supposed to follow him (into the next room to meet the leader I think) but he doesn't move and keeps saying "Follow me.. just this way). None of the wiki suggestions worked for me. Where can I find information on other ways to use the console to fix the quest?

Update - The quest is "Loud and Clear". I was able to fix this bug with the following steps.

1. Make quest active and disable other active quests
2. Go to Ratway
3. Using the console. Enter command setstage tg02 0

Brynjolf should start walking to the target.
