He is right, why were they even allowed to put this out. What could have been a great game is just broken. Hey that's a really sharp volvo! Too bad it needs a tire alignment,ac,tune up & heater core! Duh

Fix this before I come up here & post my end of auction picture from ebay!

im willing to bet companies like crytek get pressured to release on a certain timeline. thats why it came out like this. probably corporate bullying by EA or something.

People need to take it easy. It's been ALMOST 4 weeks since release. If people can't wait four weeks for a better return on a $60 investment then that is hardly the developer's fault. I would understand if at the end of two months a patch hasn't even been announced and THEN games are sold and moaned and biched about. But at the three week mark, stfu.

Thank god I paid $23 total for this game. I'm guessing if I paid $60 like most of you I'd commit suicide.

Whilst I agree ppl need patience ,and should reduce the moronic repetitive posts about lag etc, I disagree in telling ppl to stfu, and refuse to defend crytek, and take the Line of it's only been four weeks etc, as ppl are right , it shouldnt been released in this state. ppl have a right to be frustrated and vent that frustration . I just wish they'd do it in a better manner , and stop sounding like idiotic school kids having tantrums ( tbf most probably are). There needs to be a middle ground between ppl sitting quietly and patiently for something to just happen, and ppl crying and swearing in a non sensical post about issues we all know exist, as there's a million other posts like it.

If they would actually just maybe put up an update occasionally of things they working on, acknowledge issues etc,and when we might see patch , then that wouldn't require full time job , just a five minute post, and would placate the sensible crowd in here( morons will always be morons).
It's just common sense and good customer service. I honestly can't think of any other industry where companies get away with treating consumers this badly and not being punished by regulators, it's appalling and has to change.

Can u imagine the car industry working like this, u buy a care and it works sometimes , but othertimrs it drives really slowly, or the Air con don't work, maybe other days it jut won't start??? Would we tolerate them saying, ah don't worry, they will fix it I future, or demand our money back or a new car that works ?? Would we tolerate being sold cars in that state and wait patiently whilt they bank our money for them to fix it months down the line?? Fair enough they get faults, and not everything can be predicted, but this is down to greed . They want our money , but don't want to finish their product before relese. In Eurogamer article on making of crysis 2 , it was practically admitted the game was rushed out, the global illumination lighting that we were told is a huge selling point in vtysis 2 visuals, well that got dropped on consoles and they used a lower tech version, as they wanted product out, and hadn't got it right yet on consoles.

The game smacks of being half finished all round, from glitches , the ai, the net code, the frame rate, poor optimisation on ps3 with resolution etc

The least they could do is take 5 mins out their day to tell us what they working on and a rough date of arrival for this patch. This game is dying as ppl are getting rid of it, and by the time they fix it at this rate, u patient ppl who tell everyone to sit quietly and not say anything etc, will be a handful of ppl kept playing game.

Thats right Suarez07 well put . Its called customer service and the more people that are saying stfu and stop biching is whats letting the game industry take the piss and release comprimised, unfinshed, sub standard games that need fixing. Ok all bugs and issues cant always be found out before release but with crysis 2 its a f'ing joke. Let your Uk voice be heard http://gamersvoice.org.uk

No sir they are acting like consumers who bought a product and are not happy can you blame them. If Crysis2 was a car I think thier would be a RECALL on this 80% finished product.

When you buy other products get home open them.... to find something missing or broken do you say ( Oh well and throw it away ) ! NO ! You take it back and either get a replacement or refund !!!! Bratty kids I think not . Unhappy consumers is more like it . peace Drake out

Im sick of trying to justify why I really dislike this game and why I have traded in. All the people that post up telling people to stop moaning ocassionally have a point when people are moaning because of silly things that dont really matter, i.e. their lvl insignia not showing up in game occassionally. However for the most part the people that are moaning have every reason to as they are complaining about fundamental flaws in the game relating to game engine, how it has been utilised, map design, key online features etc. These are not teething issues that have only just cropped up, they have been evident in the betas (from other formats), and in the demo, yet none of the sever issues have been dealt with which is pretty ridiculous. Whether it was Crytek or EA that pushed this out ahead of time (someone had to, otherwise the game would have been released as a complete game with less fundamental flaws) it doesnt matter, it is the paying customers that are left with a new drinks coaster, thats if they havent already bit the bullet and traded in.

i say this again its possible that this happened because EA probably set a deadline that crytek couldnt finish in time. it was probably that or lose the contract with EA. given the choice they decided to release it and fix as we go. and im telling you folks constantly biching about it wont do a thing cause ill tell you right now no one at crytek checks this. they post stuff up here as updates and thats it. and can you blame them? no cause look what most of it is.

its one thing to say: look crytek this came is not finished and it is unacceptable here are the issues please look at them.

its another thing to act like alot of jerkwads in here and say things like this: OMFG!!! STFU!!! LAG THIS YOU GUYS F-ING svck!!! HIT DETECTION THAT F U GUYS!!!!! FIX NOW DAMNIT OR ILL WET MY PANTS AND RETURN THE F-ING GAME!!!!

Not directed at Marcuss but to the community.....

You complainers, complaining about the complainers really need to chill the f*ck out. Do you really think your meaningless threads telling people to stop their b*tching...no matter how much of a "jerkwad" they are...is really going to stop them (just as I'm sure this post won't stop you). It feels like most of you think your heroes for telling us to stop complaining..(no matter the complaint).

It's a forum...where people will say whatever they want. And to my knowledge...this is the official forum where Crytek should be reading it. It seems like the JUST DON'T CARE. How esle should the community take their silence?? Yeah, they probably aren't fixing it at the moment, but at least they could tell us what they are doing.

I honestly love seeing all of the complaint threads...as well as the threads where people are enjoying the game. I feel this is the worst released game that I have ever bought and think that all of the hate and disrespect towards Crytek is worth it. If you think that they don't read the forums, then why should you care? Let people vent. It really is a terrible coded game (IN MY OPINION). Don't click on the thread if you think it's one where people are complaining. It's actualy that simple. As I've said in numerous threads, I don't even play it anymore, but I do hang around as seeing what Crytek does as a company will be very interesting. As numerous other threads have mentioned.....if you bought a new car without the radio, A/C, or a battery....wouldn't you be complaining? Hell..you'd get a new car (one that worked) in a matter of hours or a full refund.

It's just a forum...contribute to the topics presented or don't contribute at all. It really is that simple! Not that my stupid thread will change anything. Carry on.

dont think it would be case of losing contract with EA, but basically publishers call the shots, and future projects would be at risk with EA and im guessing there would probably be financial penalties etc for failing to hit schedules etc, so they just bowed to EA.
I honestly cant imagine any self respecting dev who would be happy releasing a product less than perfect, so I even had sympathy with Treyarch and Black ops debacle, but publishers are about money and money alone, they dont have professional integrity, or a pride in their product , just see things in terms of stats and $.

Anyway,as of today, i wont be coming back here, sorry it had to end this way guys, but the trade in value of this game is plummeting fast , as ppl trading in game in loads, so im getting out now, whilst its worth anything, and can always pick it up again cheap if they fix it, but by then i probably wont care anyway, as other games like rage, brink, bf3 are on way, and i got bc2 and kz3 and even uc2 mp which i only played first time yesterday, great fun.

hope all works out for u guys, but dont get hopes up too high

If they can force the geniouses at BioWare to release Dragon Age 2 with such a short development time, they can do the same to Crytek. And no amount of 'independance' will matter when they are spending EA's money.

How I do wish they did drop the visuals more on consoles as 18-22fps with temporal aa and 20% strech is just a blurry slideshow.

svcks to hear the trade in value is plummeting as planning on trading this in toward Socom 4 or MK9. Haven't really decided on whether I want yet another "30 fps" shooter or taking my chances with what qualifies as 3rd party support after Black Ops and Crysis 2.

ok then i would love to hear how you think that all this crying to crytek lol will fix anything...go ahead tell me....honestly i wouldnt be suprised if they just ignor this site all together now. i mean i know i would if after releasing a patch and also then stating they would keep on working to better the issues and yet people still continue with this nonesense BS
