My camera view will change from a far away 3rd person perspective, where I can see my character fully and the environment around me with ease to a point of view my character takes up most of the screen so much so that I cannot see half of more of my screen. When it does this, the only fix I have found is to completely reinstall the game. By the way, I have seen this happen on Xbox console also that my son plays on. But he can't fix his with a reinstall...it's permanent. Is there something I can set in the .ini that will prevent this from happening? Thanks for any info anyone can offer!

Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Surely not seeing as I have seen this happen on the Xbox version also.

I've not seen this nor heard of it from people I know personally who play the game (just a handful though and all PC users).
Not seen anyone else post of this but maybe I missed something.

Very weird . I run around in 3rd person most of the time and only zoom in to 1st person (via scroll wheel on mouse) when I feel the need.
No issues so far in about a grand total of 50 game hours (so says Steam, it seems like less though) I think steam must be counting the time
I spend tabbed out. LAUGH.

It sounds like your FOV is reducing, I'm not sure. A quick SS would be helpful.
You can try the console(~) command "FOV 65" and see if that fixes it.

If it is a FOV problem putting this in you skyrim.ini could help.
