Bug ! I'm glowing! Blue aura spell effect stuck

Post » Sat May 19, 2012 1:26 pm

It's like the effect of some spell's (probably ice/frost sell) effect stuck on me! I'm glowing X(X( and NO it's not from an active sell/power/potion etc etc, i tried everything! If I go back to an earlier save it's OK!

But I won't! Can't lose 10 or more hours of gameplay because of this incredebly stupid annoying bug..

The worst is I get framerate drops because of it! From 60-50 to even 10 !!!

Believe me I tried everything, sleeping nothing fixes it...only reloading a previous saved game, but I will lose hours of gameplay...and fall back from level 38 to 30.

No problems, go out to a necromancer/conjurer/any other mage with ice spell place and make them cast a spell on you. The spell effect will wear off after that.

This is a silly problem in game, but it happens with some objects, such as the ice spikes and arrows sticking on your character. The best way to solve the problem is to get impaled again, and the game runs a trigger and removes it from your body a little bit afterwards. Expecting a fix in the next patch.

Try the 'sixchange' console command. It is used to remove stubborn arrows and may work to kill your spell effect. Just hit the tilde ~ key, type in sixchange and press enter. Type it in the console again to change back.
