Bug? Or just a hell of a way to wake up? : V

So i was trying the rest for 30 day thing as advised, at breeze home. My house carl for breeze home was sitting at the table watching me sleep, while eating a sweet roll. Meanwhile I had my houscarl from Solitude as my travel companion, aswell as 2 permanent Dead Thralls.

On about the 20th time I rested for 24 hours, I woke up, expecting to repeat the process but instead, I get the message "You cannot sleep, when enemies are around" As I was about to scream at the game for being stupid yet again, I heard my housecarls un-sheath their swords and start getting pissed off. At this point I'm thinking "Holy Hell, my game has gone nuts", but I turn around to see 3 Bandits inside my house screaming obscenities at me, and coming at me with maces and swords raised. WTF?!

My zombies and housecarls ended up beating these bandits like abusive parents, while I sat by and watched in amazement. One ended up escaping the house the other 2, left their bodies in my house. And are still there.

This a bug? Or is it something I can expect to happen, once a month, like my woman's period?

PS I sent my other housecarl home after this incase bandits where in route to my real house in solitude, where I keep all my riches.

Three things coulda happened that ive seen ingame so far:

1. You pissed them off and they followed you home but took 24 days to get there
2. They were hired to kill you which means they will hunt you down regardless of where you are
3... and the one i love the most.. you can be burgled. Its happened to me.. never take anything you place in chests but they do steal all your garlic/ect (things you get from decorating the house).

I once went to enter my Breezehome and a bandit almost knocked me over on the way out. After a few moments to gather my wits about me, I chased him down and gave him his just deserves. A little girl came up and said something about not playing with swords.

Lol damn that is a hell of a way to wake up it may be a bug i have a friend who came home to find a dragon inside his house in his game and NPC kept running in to try kill it and kept getting killed which apparently was very amusing but frustrating to as it ment he had a dragon corpse in his house

It could've been the hired thugs that roam around the outer walls of Whiterun, maybe they got inside...
